Very clear – the lecture was a good example of a well planned and structured argument, a kind of essay in itself. Liked the way key phrases kept appearing on the screen.
Tended to assume listeners were undergrads rather than A level students (“university [as opposed to] the previous education you’ve had” and “markers at university will notice”]but though the material could be quite challenging it was appropriately pitched.
Really nice point about conclusions not being a past tense version of introductions, and the importance of planning.
